E-Sports Coming to High Schools

With the popularity of E-Sports, it was probably a matter of time before we started seeing organized high school competitions.

This year, New Mexico has around 40 schools taking part in the E-Sports season. An administrator said E-Sports could offer some kids who aren’t athletically inclined to participate in team building just like other sports like basketball, track, and football.

Students competing in E-Sports could be subject to the same academic eligibility rules as other athletes.
