Hip-Hop Made Up Over 25 Percent of Music Streams Last Year

Thanks to streaming, hip-hop was the music industry leader again last year. Buzz Angle reports that of all the music streamed across audio and video platforms last year, hip-hop made up 25.4 percent, and that was an increase from 2017.
Hip-hop also saw a rise in 2018 streaming numbers on Apple Music, Spotify, and Pandora, and YouTube as well. How much music do you download daily? Did you find yourself streaming more hip-hop last year?
