These Pop Culture Moments Are Now A Decade Old

It’s 2025, and Buzzfeed.com put together a list of almost 60 pop culture moments from 2015 that are now a decade old this year. Here are some highlights:

*”Star Wars” returned with “The Force Awakens”.

*Hoverboards were a big thing, Apple Watches made their debut AND EVERYONE WAS USING SELFIE STICKS!

*LEFT SHARK upstaged Katy Perry during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

*Zayn Malik announced his departure from One Direction.

*Taylor Swift’s 1989 Tour was the highest-grossing tour of the year.

*Steve Harvey announced the wrong Miss Universe. Oh dang…this might be the CRINGIEST of them ALL.

*The Mannequin Challenge and Pizza Rat dominated social media.

*Big celebrity weddings included Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, and Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.  Meanwhile, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their divorce.
