Waseca County Recycling Facility To Open In Temporary Location
(Waseca, MN) – The Waseca County Waste & Recycling facility will open in a temporary capacity starting Thursday.
A fire last week Wednesday closed the facility on Highway 13 south of Waseca. The Waseca County Fairgrounds will house a temporary facility beginning on Thursday, January 3. The site is located at 900 3rd Street NE near the county fuel pumps on the north side of the Waseca County Extension Building. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Long-term services are still in the planning stages, according to a press release sent by Waseca County Administrator Jessica Beyer. Anyone with items not accepted at the temporary site can utilize Waste Management of Southern Minnesota in Clark’s Grove or the Blue Earth County Ponderosa Landfill as an alternative.
